A few weeks ago at our Wednesday service, Liam came back from class with a dollar and some change that he had gotten as a reward and he said he wanted to put the entire amount in the offering, not just the tithe. This of course was music to my ears and I was so surprised by this change in him so I helped him get the amount into an envelope. Then as soon as we got in the car to go home, he told my husband and I that he wanted to give ALL of his savings’ account to which our jaws dropped open. He had saved up $569! I asked him, “WHAT did the teacher say to you in class tonight?” But he said that it was nothing the teacher had said, he just thought it in his head. Liam was adamant that he wanted to give that money and he only wanted it to go to Danita's Children! My husband had shown him online the difference in the cost of living in Haiti, and Liam was so pleased knowing how many children his money would feed. We also showed him in the scriptures where God said he would reap an abundant harvest on his sowing generously and that this money wasn't just being given away but it was seed that he was sowing. We rounded up the amount to $570 and are sowing the money to Danita's Children through our church."
