Can I donate my professional services to Danita’s Children?
Yes! We have many professionals, architects, doctors, photographers, etc. who donate their professional services through our Gifts In Kind donation program. Your donation of services is booked as a contribution. For more on this, please Contact Us.
Can I donate goods or specific items to Danita’s Children?
We are able to accept certain gifts and items through our stateside offices and our Gifts In Kind donation program. You can also shop Smile.Amazon.com all year long and 0.5% of your purchase will be donated to Danita’s Children. In addition to Amazon Smile, we have an Amazon Wish List that we share every Wednesday with needs from our school, medical center, children’s homes and other programs! However, some restrictions prevent us from accepting specific items or goods. For information about what we can accept, or what we need, please Contact Us.
How do corporate matching gifts work?
Thousands of companies will match donations to approved not-for-profits and schools, dollar-for-dollar as a benefit to their employees and their communities. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please ask at your place of business.
You should also visit your human resources office or website to inquire about matching gift guidelines. Usually you just fill out your company’s brief matching gift form and send it in with your gift. We’ll take care of the rest. Danita’s Children gets more support, and your company gets a receipt and recognition. You will be acknowledged and notified of your gift.
Is Danita’s Children a registered charity? If so, what is its Federal Tax Identification Number?
Danita’s Children is a registered 501(c)3 organization in the United States. To find out more, Contact Us.
What are the benefits for me personally?
While your gift is tax deductible, there’s no greater benefit than the knowledge that your gift made a difference in the life of an orphaned or impoverished child, allowing your donation to shape future leaders who will in turn touch the lives of others. And gifts of all levels are combined to make important improvements in the lives of children in which our donors can take pride.
To whom do I make my check payable?
